Anita Briem, an Icelandic actress, is well-known. Anita Briesm, an Icelandic actor is known for playing Jane Seymour (the young woman who will later be the wife to Henry VIII) in the TV show The Tudors. Also for her role as Hannah in the 2008 film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem started her acting career in the age of 9 at the National Theater in Iceland. She was a child actor in Iceland, participating in the stage and on television. Briem began her career as a child actor in the age of 16 when she moved to London. Participated in the production of Lenin as part of Love by the New End Theater. Briem received his degree from at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at 19 and was awarded the John Barton Prize and a Drama degree. The actor performed in a number of productions at RADA which included The Cherry Garden, by Anton Chekhov, and Bernarda Alba's house, from Federico Garcia Lorca.
